MistGiver

MistGiver deserves about a million stars out of ten. We hired her to perform at my daughter’s seventh birthday party, and she was a tremendous hit with all of the kids. They could not have been more excited to swim with a “real” mermaid. After the swimming portion of the party, she stuck around and read them mermaid stories. She was highly professional (on time, good communication) and lovely to work with throughout.
However, MistGiver really outdid herself a couple weeks later when my daughter unfortunately got very sick out of the blue and had to be hospitalized for a week over her real birthday (thankfully, she’s fine now 🙏). In addition to all the scariness and boredom of being in the hospital for seven days, my daughter was really devastated about having to turn seven years old in that environment, especially because she was not allowed to have any of her kid friends visit. We reached out to Miss Giver at very late notice to see if she might be able to stop by for a last-minute special performance. Despite having just come back from out of town, MistGiver dropped everything and showed up at the hospital in full mermaid gear and made my daughter‘s birthday special by reading to her and playing with her. She really saved the day. She is simply fantastic with children and was great at keeping my daughter entertained and making her feel special without letting her get too tired or overexcited (considering her illness at that time). My daughter is an aspiring mermaid herself and watching her hang out with Mist Giver and chat about “mermaid things” like fish and beaches honestly made my day too in what was otherwise a very stressful moment.
