Miss Candi Yams

I am a burlesque performer with 30 years of performing experience. I am skilled with several props including fans (ostrich feathers and flow) boa, and weighted veil. I love improvisation with DJs or live bands, and audience work.

I have choreography experience, and am happy to customize to your vision, or can bring dances I have previously prepared!

Miss Candi Yams is an international burlesque performer shaking things up in Charlotte, NC. A sweet Georgia Peach, she serves up Southern spice with a side of sugar! She has a B.A. in Dance from UNC Charlotte, has choreographed for community theater, and taught ballet and jazz to youth from pre-K through high school. Candi loves burlesque, and focuses mostly on classic and neo-burlesque styles. The 2026 1st Runner Up Mx Ebony Burlesque, she mixes her training with her shimmies and cooks up a whole new dish. Miss Yams is your favorite mouthful, feast your eyes until you’re satisfied!

I am a burlesque performer, which typically includes elements of striptease, however, I am to customize that aspect with you!
