Minister Meek and Patrick Milla is a Christian Rap band duo that reunited in 2014. Tamieko Amos 'Minister Meek" and Patrick Miller "Patrick Milla" are childhood friends who started rapping together. Initially they were called "The Sons Of Thunder", a Christian Rap band rapping at church functions in the early 90's. After graduation, Patrick went off to college in Kansas and Tamieko stayed in Dallas. They remained friend but stopped making music together at that time.
In 1996, Patrick Milla signed with "Harvest Hill Entertainment" and went on a Texas Tour with Brooke Valentine. Under the label he has opened for acts such as Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Bun B, Genuwine, Avante, performed in front of thousands at Houston's Compaq Center opening for B2K, and much more.
Minister Meek continued his rap career as a solo act, and in the earlier 2000's became an ordained minister. Both these guys continued to actively perform and make music. In 2014 they reunited and just completed an album called "Fly High."
Compassion for others reflected in their music is what sets these guys apart. Love for others is what they are all about.
