As a full-time working musician, I make my living performing in piano-bars, restaurants, cafes, vineyards, country clubs, and house parties throughout New York and New England.
I pride myself on performing an eclectic mix of popular music spanning multiple decades, from artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Queen, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Dave Matthews, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, and more, including a handful of classical music and jazz standards.

November 22, 2025We hired Mike to perform at our wedding after-party, and we are SO glad we did! We shared our vision for a fun, interactive “piano bar” atmosphere that would get guests singing along. Even though it wasn’t his usual type of gig, Mike was totally on board and brought that vision to life beautifully. Our guests had an absolute blast belting out the classics, and when their voices needed a break, Mike’s own gorgeous vocals carried the room.
His songlist offered a great variety to choose from, and he was incredibly easy to work with -- professional, flexible, and of course, extremely talented. We couldn’t have asked for a better musician to close out our night, and we are already scheming about when we might be able to work with him again. :)

September 15, 2025Even though I'm old, I celebrated my 80th Birthday dancing all night! Mike is a virtuoso singer and pianist. He played the songs I wanted to hear (and dance to) and learned on the spot a song my daughter wanted to sing. He's a professional in every way and seems to be a very nice person. You can expect a fantastic performance filled with a variety of music to appeal to everyone. My performance style and song selection works well for a variety of events, whether I'm meant to be background music at a dinner party, the main performer for a wedding ceremony, or front and center for a party to bring the energy and entertainment. My style of playing is never a disturbance to the event itself - in fact, I've been consistently told that the music I play works perfectly for events where people are looking to converse amongst themselves while still listening to the music. I'm very comfortable working to provide music for the background of any event.
A New York based pianist/singer-songwriter, Mike Tedesco brings high-energy and eclectic music to every performance. Tedesco has drawn inspiration from a variety of musicians including Billy Joel, Jeff Buckley, and Freddie Mercury.
Tedesco has toured all over the country, and typically plays year-round throughout New York and New England. Tedesco has most recently teamed up with multi-instrumentalist/producer Justin Goldner (Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman) and drummer Jamie Eblen (Dear Evan Hansen) to create his EP, Hardly Recognizable, released through Sound Revolver Records and available on all streaming platforms.

All I require is access to an electrical outlet to power my equipment.
If the gig is outdoors and there is a chance of rain, I require to be under some sort of covering - I do not provide my own tent/cover.
