His team building workshops are fast-paced and focus on all the skills he's learned as improviser: Agreement, acceptance, being present, listening and collaboration.. All of the skills that make us better team members and, most importantly, better humans.

Mike McGuire loves to laugh and loves making people laugh, too! His shows are hilarious and appropriate for people of all ages. He's a family guy and treasures his kids. He does stand up and also improv shows! He has a crew of funny folks who perform with him and they're all hilarious and 100 percent appropriate as well. His improv shows makes the audience a part of the fun. They provide suggestions for scenes and can volunteer to play, too, if that's what you want. His improv troupe uses many of the short form games that are also played on "Whose Line Is It Anyway".
Mike and his crew do stand up and improv shows for companies, organizations, charities, associations, country clubs, civic groups, fund raisers, and private groups and functions of all sorts!! Actually, they'll perform for whoever have them!!
In addition to performing, Mike uses the skills he's learned as a performer and improviser and shares them in his applied improv workshops for team building and personal growth and development. He calls it Toastmasters on Steroids.. and all done in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
After many years of performing and producing improv and stand up shows, Mike McGuire brought ComedySportz back to St Louis. ComedySportz matches are a hilarious combination of comedy and sports. Two teams of comics compete against one another for your laughs and applause. The audience provides all of the suggestions and chooses the winners. The points really do matter! So much funny and appropriate for folks of all ages. We would love to come to your next event!!
