June 10, 2024Awesome job
He was fantastic. The guests loved his comedy and everyone was engaged through out his performance. Received messages from our guests the next day about how much they enjoyed him or how funny he was. He did nice things to personalized and connect with us/the audience including some improv which is a sign of a great comedian. Hope we have another reason to hire him again.

February 28, 2022Always funny and such a pro!
This is the second time we have had Mike entertaining for our annual fundraiser at the local Elk's Lodge. He was here 5+ years ago and did an amazing job and he did it again! He brings along 2 other comedians and the crowd of 150 loves it. I would not hesitate to book him for your event.

What to expect
Audiences can expect a lighthearted and candid comedy show. My style of comedy is to be as inclusive as possible. I enjoy mocking myself primarily, then bringing the audience in on the joke. I balance observational humor with personal stories and give audiences an opportunity to hear how a functional skeptic sees the world. I really enjoy saying that I am a clean comedian and that my act is tactfully irreverent. I think that is the most accurate way to describe my humor and audiences of all ages have enjoyed it.
As a client, I am very responsive to inquiries. I do my best to set clear expectations in regards of arrival time and booking fees. My past clients all have found my pricing to be fair and many have endorsed me with written references. Bookings are able to be made as far out as needed. I am currently booking for the holiday season in 2014.
About
I am a self-represented comedian from Chicago. I’ve been fortunate to find myself performing at corporate shows, colleges & universities, comedy clubs, festivals and benefit shows across the world. Audiences in Montreal, Dublin, and London have enjoyed my style of comedy in the past year. Remind me later to tell you about the times I worked with SNL alums Chris Kattan, Dean Edwards and Tim Meadows, and New York Time's best-selling author Greg Behrendt. March 2014 will be the third consecutive year that I will perform at the LaughFest: Late Nite Comedy Pros Showcase in Grand Rapids Michigan. LaughFest is the country's largest comedy festival.
In 2014, I've actually been hired to write the first (to my knowledge) comedic river tour of the Chicago River which is set to debut Friday nights in June. I am also a graduate of the Second City's Conservatory Program (improv comedy intensive training).
The style of comedy I perform is essentially clean. I consider my act clean but tactfully irreverent. What does that mean? Adult humor, no vulgarity. Audiences of all ages have enjoyed my blend of frustrated observations and shamelessly honest life experiences.
Additional booking notes
Most often a mic and good lighting is all that's needed. A stage is great too.
