I have professional equipment, which I will set up quietly before the event starts. I always set up my equipment so that it does not interfere with the main part of the event. I may or may not set up lighting depending on the venue. I always dress properly for the occasion.

I have been playing music since about age 9 when I started my formal training in violin. I started learning to play guitar at age 10 and I've made guitar as my main instrument. At age 14 I joined my first "band" as a bass player. During high school, I was a member of the school choir for three years. I was 18 years old when I began playing in clubs for money. That is when my professional career started. I attended the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Tx for two years where I received more music training and was also a member of their Jazz and Concert bands. At age 21 I traveled to Hollywood, California and attended the Guitar Institute of Technology. I lived there for a year before moving back to Texas. Over the past 24 years I have played in several bands and have played several types of music such as; Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz, Tejano and Solo Acoustic. I currently live in the Corpus Christi area (Aransas Pass, TX) where I am a member of the John Eric Band (Texas Country). I'm a member of Los Chililunatix acoustic band in which we play private engagements. I also play solo acoustic singer/songwriter gigs on my own or with another musician.I continue to study my instrument(s) and enjoy every minute of it. I require that the power source be no more than 25 feet from the performance area and I will need to set up my equipment with enough time to allow 30 minutes between finishing the set up and the beginning of the performance. If a guest would like to sing a song I must be contacted no less than one week before the event and no more than three songs, please. I do not allow spontaneous "sit-ins" or "karaoke" time. Any arrangements are made between myself and the contracting party. If there is an event planner involved, I will work with them the best I can but I answer only to the person(s) that hire me. I also require payment to be made to me in cash before I start. I do not accept personal checks.
