Overview
I've been entertaining at retirement facilities in Sherwood Park, Wetaskiwin, Leduc & Edmonton for over 20 years. I cater to an older demographic (seniors) aged 65+. My repertoire consists of folk, folk-rock, country, country cross-over, old rock/pop & the familiar standards. I do special event concerts (Xmas, Valentines' Day, St. Patrick's Day, Birthdays, etc.). I can provide a more upbeat program for the mature adult crowd nearing retirement. Just my 12 string and vocals through an acoustic amp. Usually a one hour set, but capable of a longer concert with appropriate break. Will do small venues such as coffee house/lounge/pub/eateries.

I engage the crowd with my music & wit while incorporating the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid).
About
Self-taught rhythm guitarist with above average vocals. Not a screamer, just a good singer. I like to engage with the audience, using tasteful humour and short stories where appropriate.
Additional booking notes
I play and sing through a very capable 100watt Traynor Acoustic Amp w/effects. My guitar is a Breedlove 12 string which gives me that full bodied sound. A minimal stage footprint.

Set list
My set list is variable, depending on the audience demographic. For the retirement facility I have a separate set list.
For the coffee-house/eatery/pub I have 60-90's rock, folk-rock, soft-rock (lounge).
Influences and inspiration
My influences include Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Dan Fogelberg, various Canadian bands/artists from the 60-s and up to the 90's, The Beatles and a lengthy assortment of others.
