We are the Dornflakes.
It's original music, super creative carefully crafted award winning songs with catchy tunes and the lyrics of an accomplished champion poet. I, we don't normally perform weddings, funerals or events where we are expected to play covers and requests like Jimmy Buffett or Ed Sheeran.
Like intelligent lyrics and some fun rocking clean acoustic guitar and drums, then we are for you. Our basic charge is 300$, We are playing music that we love and want to share with receptive crowds. Thanks for contacting us only when you feel we're a good fit for your event or venue.

I'm sure you know what I mean. I like to hit him with garbage can! But he good. Really! I sell a lot o Fatoush.

May 22, 2013Mike ran the open mic in my establishment for almost 6 years, he was the consumate professional at all times. He often also performed on many weekends, he always brought joy to the crowd with his music, poetry and off brand comedy. Mike interacts with the crowd and made sure everyone was having a great time. If given the opportunity, I would highly suggest allowing Mike to bring his style of entertainment to your establishment. He brings his own crowd, and will entertain everyone in the place. I am currently performing solo. Acoustic guitar that plugs into a PA system. I'm from Detroit and have spent considerable time in Calif.
A bit of a late bloomer, I started doing regular gigs around Detroit Metropolitan area in the 90s. I formed a few bands, but my most popular gigs were my solo shows. I had quite a following of college kids and high school kids then. My originals are quite funny, charming and witty. I had a nice run of popularity in Detroit. I'm now located in the Daytona Beach area and still trying to establish myself as a working performer here. I have done some shows and have a bit of a following here and it's starting to grow. I work at my music every day and am fully committed to being the best I can be. I have CDs and have had air play on some major rock stations as well as many college stations.
