I am a well-experienced full time professional entertainer and my song catalog includes the best of every era of popular music from the 50's through to the 2000's.
In my shows, I accompany myself on guitar, foot percussion, harmonica and ukulele.
Upon request, I can supply all P.A. and stage lighting required for a well-presented event.
My aim is to present my shows with the highest regard to professionalism, flow, momentum and energy and I include a good amount of inoffensive humour to keep the mood light and fun.

Michael Chenoweth Biography:
Michael Chenoweth is a very diverse and versatile entertainer. He is well-experienced in performing in all manner of settings including private functions, weddings, special events, clubs, holiday-oriented occasions, concerts and festivals large and small while entertaining music fans young and old from all walks of life. His 2024 and 2025 calendars each boast well over one hundred fifty events booked. No matter the occasion, Michael’s repertoire and depth of experience is guaranteed to satisfy.
A full time entertainer, performer, Michael Chenoweth has performed at countless private functions, special events, concerts, festivals and clubs. He also performs regularly at many seniors lodges in Edmonton and surrounding communities. In his shows, Michael performs on vocals, guitar, harmonica, ukulele and foot percussion. He’s also been known to accompany himself while whistling or on kazoo.
Over Michael's career. there have been many defining hi-light events, the most recent occurred when Michael was hired by The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra to perform three concerts with the ESO on Edmonton's Winspear Center Stage. The Production presented was "Saddles Of The Silver Screen" and Michael performed as a soloist with the seventy piece orchestra and sixty piece Greenwood Singers Choir.
Michael’s musical education includes studying music theory under Don Ross at Grant MacEwan University, bass guitar with John Towill at Alberta College, hand drums with John McCormick of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, voice with esteemed instructors Corinne Lillo and Jack Lumayor as well as guitar with renowned educator Glenn Gray.
During this period of furthering his musical education, filmmaker Peter Hill of the Film And Video Arts Society Of Alberta commissioned Michael to compose and record the score for his independently released movie “Happy Hour” which debuted at the Colin Lowe Theatre in Canada Place, Edmonton.
Michael began receiving his musical education while growing up on a steady diet of Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Simon And Garfunkel, Duane Eddy, The Rolling Stones, Gordon Lightfoot, Bill Haley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elvis Presley and many other stars of the day. His first recording experience came at the age of ten while singing in the elementary school choir in Prince George, BC. The single release, “Prince George Is Our Town”, received radio play for multiple weeks on local radio stations and drew media attention in the local newspaper.
His first band audition experience came while in seventh grade as a singer in a teacher-organized Junior High School rock band while singing “Joy To The World” by Three Dog Night. He successfully joined his first band one year later. Since that fateful turning point, Michael Chenoweth has spent the majority of his musical life immersed in and dedicated to performing many styles and genres of music. These include Classic Rock, Traditional Country, Folk, Blues and Jazz, singing show tunes as a member of Edmonton’s popular Columbian Choir and performing holiday-oriented music at special events.
Born in Woodstock, Ontario, Michael Chenoweth is no stranger to the road. From a young age, Michael has travelled by car, train, plane and Greyhound bus and lived in more than a dozen towns, cities and rural communities across Canada.
