About
I’m Mihail (also known as Michael), a classically trained violinist (Academy of Theater, Music and Fine Arts, Moldova). I perform for weddings, corporate receptions, and private events across Ontario, delivering polished live music that fits the moment—from elegant ceremony pieces to modern hits and stylish dinner sets.
My repertoire spans classical, jazz, Top 40, and folk, and every set is tailored to your venue, timeline, and vibe. I’ve performed internationally across Europe and the U.S., and I’ve received honors at national and international competitions, including the Grand Prize at Moldova’s “Barbu Lautaru.” My goal is simple: make the music feel seamless, elevated, and unforgettable.

This is a small sample of my repertoire. I perform a wide range of music and I’m happy to tailor the setlist and learn special requests for your event.
Influences and inspiration
My foundation is classical training, but my approach is modern. I’m inspired by crossover artists like David Garrett and by today’s pop songwriting—so I create polished violin arrangements of current hits (Ed Sheeran, Adele, John Legend) alongside timeless classics. The goal is simple: elegant, contemporary music that fits the room.
Setup requirements
Space: Minimum 6 ft x 6 ft (2m x 2m), flat surface.
Power: 1 standard outlet if amplified.
Arrival/Setup: I arrive 30–45 minutes early for setup/sound check.
Outdoors: Must be covered (no rain/wind direct) and on a dry surface.
Sound: I can perform acoustic or amplified depending on the event.
