Mideum plays the music you want for your event, or mixture to suit all audiences: Classical, Jazz, Pop, Gospel, Musicals, etc. She has many years of experience playing for a variety of events including weddings, company events, birthday and holiday events. She was trained at Daejeon Art high school and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul. Currently, Mideum is pursuing her Master’s degree at University of South Florida. There, she holds a graduate assistantship in accompanying and a teaching assistantship in teaching group piano classes.

Mideum Chung started playing the piano at the age of five in South Korea. At age 12, she had her orchestra debut with the Daejeon Symphony Youth Orchestra. She won prizes at many competitions including Korea Music Association competition (2nd prize). She was trained at Daejeon Art high school and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul, with Dr. MiJung Park, and Dr. Noel McRobbie. While at Donguk, mideum performed several recitals and accompanied conducting classes and vocal classes. She has actively participated and performed in many music festivals including J&R Seorak Music Festival, Ensemble TIMF Festival in Korea, Malmaison conservatory Festival in France, Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Italy. Currently, Mideum is pursuing her Master’s degree at University of South Florida with Dr. Svetozar Ivanov. There, she holds a graduate assistantship in accompanying and a teaching assistantship in teaching group piano classes.
