Michelle Canada has been a circus artist in Portland for 5 years. She specializes in Fire and LED Poi, and also does club torches, fire staff and double fire staff. She currently is available for the following:
- Fire Performance (Poi, Staff, Double Staff)
- LED non-fire Performance (Poi)
- Non-fire, non-glow, daytime performance. (Poi, Staff, Double Staff)
- Ambient Performance

Price Range: $75 and up depending plus fuel costs for fire
Gig Length: 10 - 120 minutes
Standard: A standard performance from Michelle includes a costume, song and performance all matching a general theme. You may choose the theme, or you may leave it up to her to create one. Generally, one set is a maximum of 10 minutes, with a 5-10 minute break between each set to regroup. Michelle is happy to do several sets.
Special: Michelle can be a character, and choreograph sets to certain music or a particular genre of music. Please allow at least a weeks notice for custom set requests.

Michelle Canada has been spinning fire and practicing circus arts in Portland, Oregon for 5 years. She has received personal one-on-one training by some of the most experienced fire spinners on the west coast, and has also received training at the west coasts premier fire spinning retreats such as FireDrums and Pacific Fire Gathering. She currently performs with Oregon Fire Conclave and Cloud City Circus, and has been asked to teach beginning circus workshops at the popular Human Nature Festival. She has performed in clubs as an LED performer all over Portland and has traveled up and down the west coast with Oregon Fire Conclave and has performed at the SOAK regional arts festival as well as the closing conclave ceremony at Burning Man.

General:
- Does your event have a theme? Should Michelle's costume reflect that theme?
- Do you want Michelle to be a character?
- Do you have your own music or do you need it provided?
- Is your event indoor or outdoor?
- How long do you want the performance to be? Is this the "finale" of a party, or is this just one of many things?
Fire Spinning:
- There will be at 20$ fuel charge for any fire performances.
- There must be at least a 10ft "sphere" in any space where fire spinning is happening.
- If inclement weather cancels the Fire Spinning, an LED equivalent will be provided.
LED/Blacklight
- LED's can be any color pattern, if you have certain colors you want to see. Great for smaller venues or indoor venues where Fire is difficult.
- Blacklights are provided by Michelle, as are blacklight props and makeup. She has a self-contained blacklight setup that can be installed at your event. Please allow at least one hour for setup for a blacklight show.
Non-fire, Non glow:
- Neon dayglow props for a friendly, non-dangerous circus vibe. Can be a choreographed show or ambient feel.
