Michael Vitali Music

I’m a dynamic drummer and percussionist and experienced bandleader. I love sharing music and bring good vibes to any event and pride myself in being sensitive to what is required and good at “playing the room”.
I specialize in straight ahead jazz and also enjoy mixing in latin, funk or the occasional pop song.
With 25 years on the New York Jazz scene, I have a vast network of talented musicians to cater to every need. I can provide trios or larger formations of various instrumentations with or without vocals.
I also work with a group playing prohibition era and New Orleans style music.
