Hey there! I'm a singer, guitarist, and songwriter who has toured nationally as a solo artist and with my band, opening for acts like the Plain White T's. I bring the perfect live music vibe to weddings, parties, corporate events, and more with a setlist spanning pop, folk, classic rock, indie, and beyond. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from Pace University and am the founder of The Music Inside, a songwriting program that helps people in rehabs, correctional facilities, and shelters transform their stories into original songs. My goal is always to create meaningful, memorable musical experiences.

Michael was absolutely PHENOMENAL at my daughter’s “Ami’s Berry First Rodeo” birthday party 🤎🐴🍓. From the moment he started, he set the tone for the entire event. He serenaded us with songs everyone knew and loved, kept both the kids and adults fully engaged, and brought such a warm, joyful energy.
One of the most special moments was the Happy Birthday tribute he did it truly made the day feel magical and unforgettable. He didn’t just perform, he created an experience.
Professional, talented, and so easy to work with. I would book him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him for any event. He was truly one of the highlights of our day!

I’m so glad we connected with Michael to play our son’s birthday party! We wanted a musician that would be entertaining for both the kids and the parents, since parties can get a little tedious at this age. Michael has a beautiful voice and sang kids classics and also some millennial favorites. All of our guests were so impressed. He is also just a lovely guy to work with. Hi! I’m Michael Shofi, a professional singer, guitarist, and songwriter based in New York City. I provide live music for weddings, cocktail hours, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, and special celebrations, creating the perfect atmosphere for every occasion.
As a full-time musician, I’ve toured nationally as both a solo artist and with my band, sharing stages with artists including the Plain White T’s, Three Dog Night, and Hotel California. From elegant wedding ceremonies and upscale cocktail hours to lively birthday parties and corporate events, I bring the same level of professionalism, musicianship, and care to every performance.
My repertoire spans hundreds... maybe thousands of songs across pop, classic rock, folk, indie, Americana, soul, country, and timeless favorites from every decade. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from Pace University and have built a career as a performer, songwriter, and producer. I was selected for the prestigious Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project and am an inaugural fellow of the Honeywell Arts Academy’s Resonance program. Beyond performing, I’m passionate about using music to connect with people through my original work and community arts initiatives.
