Michael Iwanicki & Mana Takahashi

Michael Iwanicki and Mana Takahashi are accomplished young musicians who bring artistry, professionalism, and warmth to every performance.

Michael Iwanicki, Cellist
Michael Iwanicki is a passionate 17-year-old cellist and senior at Newsome High School. He began studying cello at age 12 and currently performs under the direction of Christopher Allen. He has also studied with distinguished cellists Scott Kluksdahl and Natalie Creager, whose mentorship has contributed greatly to his musical growth.
Michael has participated in the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in 2024 and 2025 and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. He was selected for the 2025 Florida All-State Orchestra and named principal cellist of the 2026 Symphonic All-State Orchestra. He has also served as principal cellist of the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
His dedication and artistry were recognized when he won the Jacqueline Avent Concerto Competition, the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra’s Senior Concerto Competition.

Mana Takahashi, Violinist
Born in Japan, Mana Takahashi began studying violin at age four. In 2017, she was one of the youngest participants selected for the ACROS Fukuoka Violin Seminar, where she studied with renowned professor Seiji Kageyama.
After moving to Tampa, Florida, in 2021, Mana graduated from Dr. Kiran C. Patel High School in 2026. She currently studies with Yefim Romanov and has served as concertmaster of the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the 2025 Florida All-State 11/12 Orchestra.
Mana has received first-prize awards in numerous competitions, including the Ryukyu Shimpo Violin Competition, Tampa Young Artists Competition, University of Tampa Concerto and Aria Competition, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition, and Panama City Symphony Emerging Artist Competition.
She has performed as a soloist with the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, Florida College Symphony Orchestra, and University of Tampa Symphony Orchestra. Upcoming engagements include performances with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra in November 2026 and the Panama City Symphony Orchestra in January 2027.
Mana believes music is a universal language capable of expressing what words cannot. Her passion for music, combined with her interest in medicine, reflects her desire to bring comfort, healing, and hope to others.

My performance setup is simple and flexible, making it easy to accommodate a wide range of venues. For most events, I require a clean, sheltered performance space with a chair (if seated performance is preferred) and adequate lighting.

For indoor events, no additional sound equipment is typically needed, as the violin projects well in intimate and mid-sized spaces. For larger venues or outdoor events, amplification (such as a microphone and speaker system) may be recommended to ensure optimal sound quality.

If performing as part of an ensemble, additional space and seating may be required depending on the group size. I will coordinate all setup details with the client in advance to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
