Michael Larimer brings energy, originality, and most of all laughter to the lives of any crowd he performs for. Born and raised in small town Iowa he posses the qualities of a good hearted midwestern kid. However, immediately following high school graduation Michael packed his bags and headed for Los Angeles where he majored in theater and attended acting classes and learned how to survive in the big city. A few years later he landed in his second home, the second city, Chicago, where Mr. Larimer enrolled in world famous The Second City and iO Theater's. Taking classes and performing in both of these great establishments taught Michael how to think on his feet and put his acting skills to use as well and it wasn't long until he found his true love in stand-up comedy. Starting in 2008, Michael has been pounding the Chicagoland area stages more and more and the venues keep getting bigger and bigger. Michael thrives on being truly original and truly crazy with his material and delivery. His act can be sqeaky clean or fairly dirty depended on what the crowd wants. He focus and determination to rise to the top of the stand-up food chain is unparalleled. All Michael Larimer needs is a microphone and an audience of one to one billion, and he is guaranteed to leave you with tears of joy.
