What to expect is a professional performance by a professional individual. Michael's day job is high school teacher. Communication is quick, and professional. Michael will arrive one hour before showtime to set up. Michael can typically pack up and be gone within a half hour of the end of the performance. Michael has a sound system large enough to cover most rooms and outside gigs of this style music.
Michael Costello is a solo artist from Holland, Michigan. Michael brings 30 years of experience performing live with both Cos & Cos (a two-man band consisting of Michael and his brother Jeff) and Paris Blue (a full rock band). Michael’s solo act consists of his guitar, his voice and a multi-track looper. The performance consists of cover songs from the 70’s through the 90’s. Michael’s looping style is one that attempts to recreate each song as closely to the original as possible. From this act, you will not hear fifteen minute long jam sessions over a simple loop. Instead, the performance is focused on recreating crowd-favorite songs as true to the original as possible when done by a one-man band.
Michael brings 30 years of experience in sound production as well. Not only can he play and sing, but top-level equipment in the hands of an experienced engineer means he sounds good too.
Michael has all his own high quality, professional level equipment. All that is needed in electricity. Michael typically does not travel with lighting. If lighting is expected, please include that in booking correspondence.
