Miami Stars made it happen!

My wife and I (who are NYC-based) hired Miami Stars to play our wedding in South Florida. Miami Stars did such an amazing job with the performance, and played so well to our diverse musical tastes and requests.

For example, my wife is Lebanese, as were many of our guests. Leading into the reception, we were planning to have another group of drummers perform in a traditional Lebanese procession called a Zaffa. We asked Miami Stars if they could have their saxophonist and keyboardist do a live collaborative song with the Zaffa drummers, and they delivered! It was such an unforgettable experience, and so many of our guests commented on it after the wedding.

We had a wide range of song lists for other parts of our wedding: from DJ sets with Spanish guitar and Jazz for our arrival and cocktail hour; to live instrumental performances of American pop songs during the reception; to DJ sets with Latin, Arabic, electronic, and hip-hop music during our late-night celebration. Miami Stars was there every step of the way, reading and responding to the energy of the crowd. On a personal level, all of the musicians were very friendly and really seemed to enjoy being there.

We really appreciate Miami Stars for going the extra mile, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a versatile and fun band in their wedding.

MSB you are just BEYOND EXPECTATION!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for making our special day so memorable. All of you were BEYOND AMAZING. Totally set the tone for the most fun reception ever! We had such a blast with you guys, and literally everybody LOVED you! By the end of the night, it felt like the band was one of our closest guests - we all had so much fun together and you were the best! You managed to get the dance-floor started even before main course was served!

Thank you so much for making this whole process so easy - you guys have all been absolute gems to work with and we're so so grateful. Everything from the first email to your selection of songs & artists, your quick responses & prompts (whenever we forgot to reply to an email) to your incredible presence and talent on the night of our event.

Our PERFECT choice for a band ever!!

Dear Monica and the rest of the talented Miami Stars Band, We surely couldn't have asked for anything better! You have delivered the best sound and energy into our event, simply got everyone up on the dance floor and kept them there all night long!! Seriously, we have this event planned every year with different bands for the past 6 years and we've NEVER seen our guests interact so beautiful like they did now!! We were all blown away from the amazing talent!!! Boy the phone calls I got from everyone the next morning (which you had previously warned me about this... :) You are nothing less than PERFECTION and we would highly recommend you to ANYONE!

Dear Monica,
It was an awesome night! The trouble was that I was dancing so much and didn’t speak to nearly enough people!

The band were amazing!!! – everyone has been raving about them. They even got my husband dancing – and that hasn’t happened in a long while!

Absolutely perfect – will try and find an excuse to hire Miami Stars Band again as soon as possible. May have to be 50 again next year!
