By the time my wife was few months pregnant, some of her friends decided to organize a baby shower for her. Initially I wasn't on board because of the not too pleasant experience we had from the event planner for the baby shower of our first child. Merit event completely changed my mind not just on the day of the event but weeks leading to the memorable event. A lady called Vicky was in charge of the planning. She made me and my wife feel less stressful about the event by offering a detailed and well organized plan of activity. She was very courteous, professional, and tactful in her approach. She listened to all our concerns and made sure she addressed them to our satisfaction. On the day of the event, the venue was transformed to a spectacular view to the admiration of all our guest. Above all, their fee was not out of pocket. They are awesome 👍

We had our engagement party a few weeks ago. Merit Event did a great job, their decor was very beautiful and everyone loved it. We had a smooth booking process and they were accomodating when we made changes to our guest counts. I highly recommend their service and we are happy we found them.

August 16, 2020AWFUL SERVICE
I hired merit events to throw a small wedding party for my family and close friends. Vicky was very sweet and helpful communication was very smooth. Unfortunately, when it actually came time for them to come set up on the wedding day they were so rude, Vicky was polite but the guys she had helping her were rude, and they argued throughout the set up, and they had an attitude with us. We paid for the furniture to be moved, and of course if you pay a fee for the furniture to be moved, the fee includes moving the furniture back in. Vicky didn’t move the furniture back unless we paid another “small fee” to move it back. She then without asking us brought a photographer into our party to take photos of her event, he asked our photographer THAT WE PAID FOR to stay out of his way!!!!
Very unprofessional, and extremely rude. Their Instagram is also not legit and has 10k followers because they bought their followers which is why they are all Russian.

Thank you for hiring us for your event. First, we appreciate your initial feedback via text that says “thank you so much, everything looked beautiful”. We are sorry there were issues with the guys that came to deliver at your event as well as the photographer, as you may know, adults are responsible for their own behaviors/actions. It’s one of those things no one has control over, since they are not children. We did our best to provide an excellent setup by adding centerpieces, table runners, decorative chargers, and water/wine glassFOR FREE so you and your guests have a nice setup for your event and not empty tables.
We are a design company and only offered to help move the furniture for a minimal fee ($100). We did ask if you needed them moved back in but got no reply and we only charged for move out, we spelled out our services in our contracts and messages to avoid miscommunication and assumption. We pride ourselves in authentic service and we are glad we executed excellently what you hired us for: backdrop, drapery, chairs and tables. Photos prove it was a beautiful setup.
We never requested any other fee for moving furniture back in, we only stated it was not included in the fee paid to us.
The photographer as stated in our contract was only there to take setup photos as any event company does, it was sad that there were issues in delivering his service.
Our social media page is legitimate, our social media manager has been doing a great work. We do NOT discriminate against any follower no matter where they are from, we actually love all our followers including our Russian followers.
We stayed professional at your house all through the setup and pickup process despite people we met there getting in our faces in the middle of a pandemic without face masks.
We never over charge, we run our local business with fairness, accuracy and excellent delivery! We sincerely wish you the best!

It was such a great time with this company. Vicky was extremely helpful and experienced. She helped with the whole coordination of our event and the decor was so beautiful. I recommend without a doubt.
