March 24, 2024Melissa is a both a fantastic musician and a wonderful human. We've seen her play a number of gigs around New York City which are always a fun time. Even more importantly, she played guitar for our wedding ceremony and first dance and did a beautiful job. We had total faith that she'd feel out the timing etc with our wedding procession, and having her play one of our favorite songs live for our first dance was extra special. I can't recommend her enough!

Please note I do not have my own PA system. The sound from the amp is wonderful and far reaching however, if your event is in a larger space or the sound is expected to reach beyond 100 people, a PA system in the venue would be necessary.

Melissa has had the opportunity to be involved in a wide array of unique creative projects. She has performed original music, comedy, and solo shows at notable music and performing arts venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, the Knitting Factory, Bowery Electric, Culture Lab LIC, Dixon Place, the Magnet Theater, the People's Improv Theatre, the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, and countless restaurants, bars, backrooms, parties, weddings, and other private events.
Melissa can provide sound equipment ample for a solo performance of up to 100 people. Please note that a PA system provided by you or your venue will be necessary for numbers higher than this.
