Mel performed three old hymns for the memorial. My attendees and I are probably a much older audience than Mel generally has but he performed what I requested beautifully and reverently. He is a consummate professional. He arrived well ahead of schedule, attired meticulously in an immaculate suit which was appropriate for our occasion. He set up his own equipment and was ready to perform, prepared, and simply brilliant in every way. He lived up to his reviews and then some, especially since I didn't choose from his usual repertoire. He is accomplished and flexible in his musicianship. Many commented on what beauty he added to the event.

Briggs. He was chosen for my mom’s celebration of life because of his sounding so much like many singers she loved like: Al green, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and others. He was able to transition from the religious ceremony where he sang gospel, to singing the Motown hits my mom loved. Before the event he was in contact with me just enough for me not to worry that he may have forgotten, and offered and brought music for us to play to start the event. He was perfect for us, very personable yet professional. Thank you Mo!

Was so professional and very embrassing in our time of grieving the loss of our mother. He had a deep understanding of my mom, her family and friends. Mel helped choose songs that were so appropriate for the event. Everyone truly enjoyed his gift to sing! We didnt want him to leave!!!
