By the end of your session, you'll have beautiful, timeless images that reflect who you truly are. or weddings, concerts, and live events, my approach is a little different. I work quietly in the background, documenting the candid moments, emotions, and details as they naturally unfold. From the excitement of getting ready to the energy of a live performance, my goal is to preserve the atmosphere and tell the story of your event through authentic, compelling images you'll treasure for years to come.

I'm a Texas-based photographer with nearly two decades of experience in photojournalism and portrait photography. I began my career as a photojournalist for *The Shorthorn* at the University of Texas at Arlington before working for the *Texarkana Gazette*. Today, I own Megumi Rooze Photography and work as a freelance photographer for the *Austin American-Statesman*, covering news, sports, and community events throughout Central Texas. My portfolio includes families, seniors, maternity, engagements, sporting events, and live performances. I've had the opportunity to photograph artists including Rihanna, Los Lonely Boys, and Sister Sledge, but what I enjoy most is capturing genuine moments and authentic connections that tell each person's unique story.
