When you hire someone for live music, you want to get what you paid for and then some. Look no further. Professional pianist, keyboardist, organist, and drummer with over 10 years of experience, Michael Davis Jr is THE key component for the perfect ambiance of your event. For upscale gatherings, corporate events, grand openings, private parties, weddings, religious celebrations, and quinceaneras you can expect to hear a delicate blend of pop favorites, smooth jazz, easy listening, light classical, sacred, and seasonal tunes. Michael is committed to making your event one guests will remember for a lifetime.
I had Michael play the piano and sing for a surprise proposal. He was absolutely awesome! On that day it rained pretty hard and I was supposed to have the proposal in a park but couldn't. Michael was generous enough to call around and find another venue because he knew the area and knew some good spots. He came up with a nice hotel that allowed him to play in their beautiful lobby. When I walked in he was already set up and playing beautiful music for the patrons in the hotel. When we saw each other he began to play the music that I requested a week earlier that he was able to learn in that short amount of time. I then surprised my girlfriend with the proposal and everything went well. I appreciate that wonderful memory that you created for the both of us!
Michael is hands-down the most professional and gifted keyboard player I have ever seen! He was extremely friendly, on time, and flexible. He learned the songs for my mom's wedding in less than a week and was very cooperative with singers who he had never met before. He was so great, one of the singers wanted him to move to South Carolina with us!!! If you book him you will not be disappointed!
Michael went above and beyond our expectations! He made our mom and guests feel very special, took many requests, very versatile, and went way past his allotted time! I'd recommend him, and hope to use him again in the future......CJ

What to Expect
My role in the vision of the event will be fulfilled. My clients experience professionalism, comfort, and ease when dealing with me. I know my role, and can improvise in a pinch. I bring my own keyboard, vocalists, and/or band if needed but will need an amp for myself and sound equipment for vocals and band.
