Maurice Gold is a Gospel, R&B, and Soul vocalist known for his distinctive melodic voice, smooth delivery, and soulful musical style. His sound brings together the spiritual depth of Gospel with the warmth and emotion of R&B, Soul, and classic Motown.
Maurice developed his love for music at an early age and spent much of his life singing in church choirs. Along the way, he was influenced by legendary artists such as Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye, whose musical styles helped shape his appreciation for soulful vocals, meaningful lyrics, and timeless melodies.
With more than 20 years of experience performing and producing musical events, Maurice has performed in a variety of settings, including churches, concerts, weddings, funerals, private events, and other special occasions. In 2010 and 2011, he was featured at Disneyland’s Gospel Celebration Concert, performing alongside other Gospel artists.
Maurice’s career continues to grow. In 2025, he headlined his "Maurice Gold Variety Show", a sold-out performance at the Riverside Community Players in Riverside, and was featured on “It Could Be U” by Jordan Lyles, from the soundtrack of an Emmy Award-winning documentary. These recent accomplishments reflect his continued connection with audiences and his work as a live performer.
Beyond performing, Maurice is also a songwriter and continues to develop his original Gospel music, including his album project, “Come Walk With Me.” He remains dedicated to creating music that inspires, encourages, and connects with listeners.
Today, Maurice continues to perform, write, and produce music, bringing together decades of musical experience with a genuine passion for Gospel, Soul, and R&B.
Maurice provides his own music and performance setup. The venue will only need to provide access to standard electrical outlets and the existing venue lighting. No additional lighting or special staging is required.
