May 16, 2026Booking Matthew for my wife’s 40th Birthday BBQ was one of the greatest decisions since humanity discovered fire… which, coincidentally, we were also using for burgers.
We had watched Matthew beforehand and thought, “Yeah, this guy seems pretty good.” What we actually got was a full-scale wizard invasion of our backyard.
The man didn’t just perform magic — he casually shattered the laws of physics while holding a conversation and making everyone laugh. To this moment, I still lie awake at night wondering how in the name of Merlin he pulled off the rope trick. I’ve replayed it in my head approximately 4,000 times and my brain simply files it under: “Sorcery.”
Matthew worked the BBQ crowd like an absolute legend. Adults were stunned. Kids were losing their minds. At one point I’m pretty sure even the hot dogs were impressed.
What really made the night unforgettable was how effortlessly he connected with everyone. He brought humor, energy, and that rare kind of charisma that turns a fun party into one of those “Remember when…” nights people talk about for years.
