Although I do play organ and piano for worship, weddings, and celebrations of life, I’m here because I miss playing for private events. For two years, I was the lobby pianist for The Weekly Wine and Cheese Social of the Historic Dunhill Hotel in uptown. I miss playing that type of music.

January 12, 2026Matthew played piano at my 40th birthday party and was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. He was prompt, professional, and incredibly kind - the kind of presence that immediately puts you at ease.
Musically, he nailed exactly what I was looking for. The genre, tone, and overall feel of his playing were spot-on and added such a sophisticated, elevated touch to the evening. His music created a great atmosphere.
Beyond that, Matthew is insanely talented. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how perfectly it fit the beginning of the night. I couldn’t have asked for a better pianist or a better experience.
I would recommend Matthew without hesitation for any event where you want professionalism, artistry, and a truly memorable musical backdrop.
