I own a booking agency and book mainly street marketing events with companies and I have utilized Matt's services many times at events as a costumed character. Matt is outgoing, on time, funny and my clients love Matt. The number one complaint that I get in my business is "the performer just stood there and didn't do anything." I never worry about that with Matt. He dances with people, talks to people, jokes with people and all in a way that makes people feel welcome and unthreatened. A true art in street marketing work. I couldn't recommend Matt more highly.
Matt and his friends were right on time, did exactly what was discussed and were very professional and equally as entertaining. Very satisfied with the service he provided.
I hired Matt for my cousin’s 9th birthday party. He was professional, on time and entertaining. He made balloon animals and did trivia questions. It was really entertaining for both the kids and adults. He was very funny and great with the kids. I highly recommend him.
Matt was awesome!!! Super friendly, very talented, took initiative and was just a pleasure to work with.

Here is what people are saying about Matt:
Matt is a very clever, innovative comic who is playing with the form and getting great results. He will leave his mark. Besides, he just makes me laugh.--Rick Overton, Emmy Winning Writer, Actor, and Comedian
Matt displayed a natural, highly accessible story-telling talent. He did a great job of staying with the bonds of Jesuit school propriety while presenting a dynamic, engaging routine. I recommend him to perform at any other college that is looking for a respectful and perceptive comedian.--Gabrielle Guiterrez, Vice President of Student Affairs, Academia Hispania, Fordham University, Rosehill Campus
For a performance at The Garden City Hotel, sponsored by the CCFA, Matt brought his humanity, insight, and, of course, hysterical take on life. His accessibility and strong connection to the audience had our guests howling with laughter and nodding knowingly as they could relate to the truths revealed in his universal themes. --Susan Gomberg, Director of Development, CCFA
Matt and I have appeared on many successful comedy shows over the past ten years. He is a brilliant, compelling comedy talent. Matt is a master of characters that make you laugh out loud. His jokes and performance style are infectiously funny and original.--Ed Tyll, Comedian & Host of Ed Tyll Show on Florida Radio 105.5
Matt Nagin is a comedian and author who has published four books, appeared on two reality shows, acted in numerous TV and Film projects, and performed standup in seven countries.
Some career highlights include the 2019 publication of his humor book Do Not Feed The Clown by Tenth Street Press, the poem “If We Are Doomed” winning the 2018 Spirit First Editor’s Choice Award, and an appearance on the Amazon series Hunters in a scene with Al Pacino. Other experiences he is grateful for include playing Sgt. Harris on Street Justice: The Bronx, since it gave him an opportunity to meet Ralph Friedman, the most decorated detective in NYPD history, performing his one man show, Woolly Mammoth Panic Attack at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival (a show so licentious it almost gave his mother a stroke), and creating the short film, Inside Job, which won several awards at festivals such as Best Short Film at The Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes and Best Supporting Actor at The Nice International Film Festival.
Perhaps most importantly, Matt spent several years as a Talent and Show Coordinator for The Gotham Comedy Foundation, a charitable organization that brings comedians into hospitals and senior centers. Matt further has long been involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and, in 2019, was granted the Long Island Chapter’s Mission Award.
