Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1993, his family moved to rural Missouri, when he was 5. Mason began his guitar studies at age 8. Over the years, his talent was developed under the tutelage of guitarists like Derek St. Holmes, Dweezil Zappa, and Randy Bahr, among others.

Mason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance—Guitar. While attending college, his free time was consumed by performing original compositions and jazz standards with various local bands. It was during this time that he developed a fresh, new take on jazz standards. Imagine melding Joe Satriani with Wes Montgomery, and you’ve got yourself Mason Williams. Though his sound has often been compared to Pat Metheny and George Benson, his style is uniquely his own!

Every Saturday night, you can find him leading his band "The Kelly & Mason Band" with vocalist, Kelly Clinger, at The Ritz Carlton Tiburon Golf Resort in Naples Florida. New for 2020, his band has been selected to play at The London Club on Wednesday evenings from 8 - 11. This is the newest live music venue in Naples, which opened December of 2019. He often shares the stage with talented area musicians, including jazz pianist, Stu Shelton; bassist, Jimmy Allen; vocalists, Kelly Clinger and Latin singer, Ana-Nova (Ana Reveron); drummers, Bill E Peterson and Rick Costa, just to name a few. He also plays at private clubs and many other local venues, community and corporate functions in the Naples area.

Mason is available for private dinners and luncheons, cocktail parties, wine tastings and at fine restaurants featuring area musicians—anywhere relaxing, soothing live music is appreciated. He is widely known for his tasteful renditions of jazz standards that span generations of American composers. Mason also performs his original compositions, as well.

In addition to solo performances, Mason can also offer a Duo with a vocalist, as well as a Trio. If your needs require it, Mason can also offer a full 5 piece band.

I don't require much room, about a 4'x4' area. I bring my own amp, stool and extension cord, however, I do require an electric outlet nearby.
