July 22, 2025I had high expectations but The Masanotti Trio exceeded them all. It was awesome to have their upbeat, lively music in the background for our brother’s surprise party. I felt privileged to be in the same room with these guys. They were THAT talented. Seemed like a small price to pay for such wonderful artists. Definitely a class act.
I recommend The Masanotti Trio highly and without reservation.

A listener to the Masanotti Trio can expect 2-3 hours of violin-led jazz music, with about 1/3 of the songs having vocals as well. While entertaining, the music can also be unobtrusive, with extreme volume never being a problem. We are able to play specific jazz requests, as well as jazz versions of specific requested songs if given enough time in advance. Also, the nature of our instruments means that we don't take up a great deal of space either, and even with sound equipment can be very adaptable to almost any space.
The group’s leader, violinist and vocalist James Masanotti, has been a constant presence in the music scenes of South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee since 2010, playing in myriad orchestras, bands, and musical ensembles of all genre types. This wide range of experience has allowed him to develop a large pool of talented colleagues for collaboration on recording and performance opportunities. This adaptability, combined with a passion for excellence and artistic expression, translate into a memorable musical experience no matter the event.
The Masanotti Trio requires at the very least a power source for our amplifiers and/or sound system if required. Other parameters can either be left up to the client or negotiated with the rest of the engagement.
