Here's what to expect when you work with me!

Live performances:
- Smooth, clear vocals
- Sound check prior to performance
- Option for live practice day(s) prior to performance
- You can decide the style I use to sing (I typically sing music close to the way it was written; I can add flourishes, runs, and anything else you like if you prefer a more stylistic, unique performance)
- Professional dress and demeanor
I WILL PROVIDE: my voice, instrumental track on USB drive (if using my own music), my own water
I WILL REQUIRE: sheet music (unless previously discussed), microphone, accompaniment (unless using a recording I provide), sound system

Recordings (home studio):
- Dry, 24-bit .wav stems separated by leads, layers, harmonies, and ad libs
- Default basic pitch editing and unnecessary silence removal
- Option to do advanced editing for better fit in the mix (volume automation, EQ, additional silence removal, breath reduction, etc.) [this is NOT mixing, it just better prepares the vocals for the mix and makes mixing the vocals less time-intensive on the producer's end]
- Unlimited revisions (I'll work with you until we think the track is perfect)
- Option for high-quality video of recording
- Reduced price for covers
I WILL REQUIRE: instrumental track (doesn't have to be mixed or mastered yet), BPM, any guidelines/ideas you'd like me to use

Recordings (professional studio):
- Dry, 24-bit .wav stems with option for 32-bit float at producer's request
- Discuss further editing requirements
- Unlimited revisions within time restrictions
- Option for high-quality video of recording
I WILL PROVIDE: studio booking (you can choose the studio if you have a strong preference)
I WILL REQUIRE: instrumental track, any guidelines/ideas you'd like me to use

Lyrics:
- Professionally written lyrics in your chosen theme and style (I am most experienced with pop, all genres of EDM, hip-hop, and rap)
- Vocal melody included in most cases; discuss if no vocal melody requested/required
- Unlimited revisions up until deadline; unlimited minor revisions following deadline
- Professional, objective feedback on previously written lyrics, ideas, themes, stories, and anything else we might be turning into music
I WILL PROVIDE: final copy of lyrics as PDF, BPM and time signature (if writing vocal melody), reference track either a capella or with instrumental (if writing vocal melody)
I WILL REQUIRE: desired key (if writing vocal melody), any guidelines/ideas you'd like me to use

DISCLAIMER: I retain the copyright to all lyrics and vocal melodies I write. I do not do ghost work; even if you do not credit me in the title of the track, you will be required to credit me as the/a songwriter for original tracks. If a label contract requires that the label possesses the copyright for the song, I charge an additional $500 flat fee and will need to read the contract prior to signing.

Hello! I have my wonderful mom to thank for this voice, and I couldn't be more proud of what I've accomplished with it. I grew up singing in church since my mom was the lead cantor and choir director while I was in school. I learned to love soaring harmonies and descants then, and started to write my own music shortly thereafter. I started young in piano and then learned to play the clarinet, going on to play clarinet in various ensembles and university orchestras for more than 10 years. When I got my first laptop in 2012, I taught myself how to use GarageBand and the rest is history.

My lyrics and vocals have over 1,000,000 streams and views worldwide just since September 2019. I have over 15 years of experience writing lyrics and vocal melodies, I have a degree in English language and literature with a specialization in rhetoric and composition, and I'm also an eight-time nationally published and awarded poet. In 2019 alone, I worked with four different labels releasing five tracks with my vocals and lyrics; I've already released one track in 2020 and I have several more lined up.

Music has been an integral part of my life since before I can remember. My experiences include singing the National Anthem for sporting events and parades, being a solo cantor in church, singing for funerals and weddings, performing in front of thousands of people, and recording music in my home studio. I take on every project with professionalism, an eye for detail, and a healthy curiosity.

Here are my technical requirements for performances.

Live performances:
- monitoring equipment (earpiece, monitoring speaker onstage, etc.)
- at least one sound check prior to performance; this soundcheck will need to be with the sound team if applicable
- stage or area separate from audience; when performing with live accompaniment, I will need to be close to the piano and/or lead guitar
- [PREFERRED] single spotlight for indoor performances in places with low light; this is only for performances that make sense with this setup (i.e., performances in which the focus is on me)
