What to expect

I play music that makes me happy and sparks memories from my lifetime. Sometimes that is a rowdy sing along - and others, just a sweet ballad. I like to be in the background setting a mood as well as engaging with the crowd to share a tune that means something for someone or is just downright fun. Music is a way to bring people together and share experiences, and I love that I can be a part of bringing those experiences to the world.

Influences and inspiration

I am heavily influenced by the music that I have heard my whole life, whether on the radio or the turntable. I lean into soft rock and pop covers from the 1970's and 80's, with a selection of songs from the 90's through to today. I have a lower vocal register and play many traditionally male led songs, artists like The Eagles, Tom Petty, and Van Morrison are all featured in my rotation as well as an occasional "one hit wonder". I do not restrict myself to songs that are typically played on an acoustic guitar and like to provide a good mix of genres. The feedback I get most often is that my song choices are unique and memorable. I liken my sets to changing the radio station for a good variety of artists, tempos and moods.

Setup requirements

I have all of my own equipment that is scalable up or down depending on space and sound requirements. I also have a portable power source for outdoor events.

My typical setup uses about 5 square feet - but can be scaled down for smaller spaces.
