One of the first women to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, Mary trained over 40,000 military and civilian personnel in multi-cultural environments around the world during her 21 years on active duty as a commissioned officer in the Navy.

Commander Kelly’s Navy experience included serving as an Intelligence Officer, a Human Resources Director, an Assistant Chief of Staff for Pearl Harbor, a Professor, and as a Chief of Police.

Dr. Kelly has authored 11 books. Her 2016 book, Why Leaders Fail and the 7 Prescriptions for Success won a bronze book award for leadership excellence.
