Vocalist Mary-Catherine Pazzano brings a nostalgic, yet modern flair to her singing of jazz standards. She performs the repertoire of the Great American Songbook with the flavour of the vintage and timeless forerunners of the genre, yet makes the sublime lyrics her own.
Mary-Catherine is also a classically trained vocalist, and can deliver classical, jazz, pop, and oldies repertoire with ease!
She is also adaptable to perform with the ensemble size that is preferred for your specific event, as a solo artist, duo, trio, quartet, or a larger band.
Mary-Catherine has provided music at weddings, anniversary parties, funerals, and birthday parties. Contact her for your event today!
What to Expect
I provide live music for your event. I sing and play piano if you are looking for live music on a budget, or I can also bring in a duo, trio, quartet, or larger ensemble, depending on the nature of your event.
I have played wedding ceremonies and receptions, private parties (birthday parties, anniversary parties, etc.), and funerals.
While I mainly perform as a jazz singer, I also perform classical, folk, pop, and oldies songs. I will tailor your event based on your requests, and will gauge the appropriate songs for each event.

“As impressive as these artists were… it was singer Mary-Catherine Pazzano who truly stole the show. Whether she was scatting her way through a fast number or slowing things down for a powerfully belted tune, Pazzano had the audience enthralled throughout the entire show. Her performance was probably best summed up in the quiet moments that occasionally appeared between the notes, when the room sat in anticipation of her next line – completely silent and breathless.”
Jon Svec: Reporter, Thornbury Paper
