Marty Jacobson

I started my comedy career as a class clown. All of my school report cards had comments from the teachers, "Marty entertains the class at the most inappropriate times." In college I started working comedy clubs and did a walk on performance for "Star Search" (which I did not win.) I traveled the country (1979) in my 1972 Pinto. I opened for Howie Mandel at the Improv in San Diego. I have also opened for Phylis Diller, New Kids on the Block, Ted Nugent, Michael Winslow . As a starving comedian I became a police officer (44 years) where much of my humor is anecdotal to police work as well as television and movie writing credits. My best audiences are middle age and up.
