Marriage by Mari

Mariela was the perfect person to officiate our wedding. She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire process.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was extremely helpful, guiding us through how the ceremony would go, offering tips for our vows, and even covering the basics, like putting the ring on the correct finger.

After we answered a few questions, Mariela wrote a beautiful story to open the ceremony. She made our families feel welcomed and reminded everyone why we were getting married in the first place.

She was a great communicator throughout the planning process, was always responsive as we went back and forth before the wedding, and was quick to send over our marriage certificate afterward.

I’d recommend Mariela to anyone looking for someone who is professional, makes them feel comfortable, and is an all-around wonderful person to officiate one of the biggest days of their lives.

I am still on a high from the beautiful ceremony we had with Mariela. I had asked for something very low key and simple, since I have been with my partner a long time already. She was able to honor my request, while still making it a very special moment. Once she arrived, her instructions were very clear, and she was so sweet to my parents who were the witnesses. She has such positive energy and presence, and we felt like she really knew what she was doing/very professional. We also really enjoyed getting to know her a little bit more. Mariela provided us with the most lovely and warm ceremony I could ask for. She listened to us and created a ceremony that was exactly as we wanted. Brief but emotional, bilingual, warm, and with all the right tones, energy and highlights you want in a ceremony speech. She guided us through the whole process and made it very very easy for us.
