About
MATP is a jazzy soul band from Helena Montana specializing in sexy and soulful lounge music. With hours of original music along with clever covers if your favorite songs, Marly & The Pocket will leave an impression.
MATP is made up of founding members Marly Allen and David Prudden, along with newest member, Destin Markland.
Destin is an accomplishment composer and producer as well as an incredible saxophonist. His unique style plays perfectly with MATP's complex yet soothing sound.
David an expert percussionist and accordion player, always brings the perfect beat and vibe. Dave's skills in production take MATP's songs to an unexpected next level making him crucial to thier unique sound.
Finally, Marly, a vocal master with an ear for clever melody lines and brilliant harmony, there isn't much outside her capability. She will captivate and relax all who hear. An avid philosopher, Marly writes the songs for MATP from her experience in life, love and heartbreak. Once David and Destin leave thier creative mark on the songs we are left with an intelligent and rich sound that makes MATP special.
