Mark Pawlak - The Songwriters' Playlist

We will discuss your interests, what you wish to achieve for your guests, and specifics about the venue where your event will be held. I am open to meeting in advance to see the venue and plan with you on how you'd like things to be set up for the performance. I'll craft the set lists with your input and will have suggestions and ideas to set the perfect tone. If it's a special occasion, let's talk about "that special song" and I will have it ready. I also will provide streamed music through my sound system during breaks. If you will be needing a microphone for announcements, I can provide that as well. I have years of experience with practically every type of event, and my goal will be to work with you to make your event an outstanding experience for your guests.

I have been playing guitar and signing either solo or in cover bands for over 40 years. While music is not my primary career, it has been a passion of mine for my entire adult life. I have been blessed with a strong and versatile singing voice and have worked over the years to also become a very capable guitarist. After performing in bands for several years, I am returning to my musical roots as a solo singer and guitar player. I pride myself in not only playing the "standards" but also in surprising my audiences with acoustic versions of songs that other solo performers wouldn't attempt. My goal is to provide an exceptional listening experience for any audience and to have every client tell me they would have me back again.

I can set up my smallest "rig" in the corner of a living room or small public venue. I have a larger rig when needed, but even this option has a very small footprint. I have played inside homes, on a back deck/patio, and for large outdoor events with 400+ attendees. I will need nearby access to reliable electricity, and some sort of hard surface for set up (stage, concrete, deck, etc.). Depending on season, a covered area with protection from sun and rain is a big plus. I can provide my own canopy if needed.

Here is the "technical" information I will need from you as we discuss the planning for your event:
- indoors or out?
- approximate size of venue, and number of guests expected
- approximate size of area for me to use for my set-up (stool, mic stands, column PA)
- if outdoors, what surface will I set-up on?
- if outdoors, covered or not?
- location of available electricity (a single outlet is all I need)
- approximate distance from loading/unloading area to set-up area
