Mark Christopher is an old-school comedian with a modern sensibility (meaning he tells jokes but not of the "dad" type). His meticulous writing ensures that each performance is packed with twists and turns that keep the audience guessing (and of course laughing). He can work "blue" or clean, and is equally comfortable as a host or a headliner, in a club or at a private event. Mark is from Miami, but started his comedy career in San Francisco, where he worked with many of the biggest names in comedy (e.g., Bill Burr). When he's not performing, Mark loves to scuba dive and he has even worked as a shark wrangler.
Mark is also a licensed auctioneer with extensive charity auction experience.

August 5, 2022Mark was absolutely a joy to work with. Everything leading up to the corporate retreat, he communicated with me every step of the way.
Mark has a great stage presence and had the entire audience (of a law firm) cracking up with his commentaries and introductions. I truly hope to have the opportunity to work with him again on many more events! Terrific job Mark!!!

April 3, 2022I recently book Mark to perform at a clean comedy show at a church/coffee shop type environment and Mark exceeded all expectations. He was clean, funny and personable. I would recommend booking him at your show!

February 6, 2022Mark is an incredibly talented comic whose work speaks for itself. In my case, he wrote a roast bit for me for a friend's bachelor party and it absolutely killed. We spent about 30 minutes talking about my buddy and his foibles and such, and Mark came back with an incredibly tight 10-minute bit that just slayed the room. It was incredible.

February 4, 2022Mark's standup routine was just perfect for the fundraiser he performed at for us last year. His jokes were funny; his tone and messaging was appropriate for the crowd; and Mark couldn't have been easier to deal with before and after the show. Remember when Bell Biv Devoe cautioned us to "never trust a big butt and a smile"? I won't say they were wrong, but I will say that you can trust Mark Christopher.

Thanks for the review. I'm now going by Mark Christopher (easier to pronounce, or work into a Bell Biv Devoe lyric).

I'm professional. I'm reliable. And I'm funny.
My style of comedy is dry, sometimes goofy, sometimes dark, and always well-crafted.

Side Note: Robin Williams once whispered into Mark's ear after a performance at The Purple Onion and Mark still carries the ear with him for inspiration (it's the left one). When he's not performing, Mark loves to scuba dive and he has even worked as a shark feeder's assistant. He recently caught a lobster but has yet to eat it.
