Yesterday our church celebrated Sinco de Mayo and Mother's Day. It was so festive and so much fun thanks to the presence of Mariachi Tierra Mia. They are great musicians, with beautiful voices and harmony, and very communicative and entertaining. They are professional yet personable and friendly; during break time they mingled with church members. We had a wonderful time, and we were pleased.

We added the Mariachi Tierra Mia group to our Cinco de Mayo themed dinner buffet and they hit it out of the park...or I should say Club. They looked fantastic, showed up on time and ready to go. They sounded wonderful both indoors and outdoors and strolled around the entire space....the 400 people in attendance all loved them!

The Mariachi Trio was one of the real highlights of our party . Each Musician was TERRIFIC. All were graceful, very talented and very impressive , played and sang beautifully. They were so generous in explaining the more nuanced aspects of Mariachi, shared information about their instruments with other musicians attending our party as guests. They were very beautiful, each and every one, in so many ways. Our guests and we agreed they were the highlight of the party. This was one of the best choices I ever made...and I am old!

Everything about these guys was fantastic. They were professional and courteous and of course they were phenomenal musicians.

Tierra Mia came to perform at our home New Year's Eve (8-10 pm) dead smack in the middle of a rainstorm. We had tents and heaters set-up but due to the high winds they had to put up with crosswinds and rain. They never complained and performed admirably. We were able to move the furniture and bring the band inside after 45 minutes. They were the highlight of the evening and all of us had a great time despite Mother Nature. We can't wait to bring them back during a sunny, warm California evening.

I hired a group of 3 for a birthday surprise. They were on time, professional, sang my requested songs and most of all sooo talented. I wasn't expect to hear such beautiful voices and talent. This band was so awesome , super nice and responsive on the phone so I knew when they showed up they would know exactly what to do. It was a surprise for my mom so they were very discreet when they showed up and they even learned a Kanye west song “hey mama” and it was amazing. My mom was in tears the whole time. They took requests from my mom on the spot and killed it! The pricing was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I got on gig salad.

They are the best. It was hard finding a group of 4 that had a trumpet included. They were coed which we appreciated, and they were very communicative, easy to work with (we set the whole thing up the day before), flexible, arriving a little early, setting up out of sight and they totally surprised the birthday boy. The music was fantastic and everyone in the group was friendly. They brought out the whole neighborhood! Definitely will call them again.

My business partner got me in contact with Maria ...she was easy to talk with and walked me through the contract and deposit $150 ... when the date came there was constant contact with her and her husband ivan through text we set up to sing as they were entering the house door which made the surprise more special... wish my grandma was there to see it

Angelica was great! Although I didn't know Angelica was coming in place of Maira until the day of when the group arrived. It would have been nice to be given a heads up since our emcee prepared comments and was going to talk specifically about accomplished Maira was to the audience. I did an online survey to get feedback from attendees for my corporate event and their performance received the highest marks and we received so many complements about them after the event. Mariachi Tierra Mia met my every need for my friends Surprise Retirement Party. Nobody expected the mariachi group to enter and it made the night!! Not to mention, Maira, the director is extremely professional and kind. She didn't fail to meet my needs!

Mariachi Tierra Mia did an amazing job at my grandmother’s funeral. They were there on time and played beautifully. It was soothing and they walked with us to the grave site from the chapel even in 90+ degree weather. I can’t thank them enough for what they did. I live out of state and Maira did a great job of making sure everything was taken care of.

I hired a duet ensemble from Maira because our venue was small, and she was super accommodating. She is a beautiful singer and violinist and her husband came along as the guitarist and singer. They are extremely professional and amazing to watch. Everyone was impressed and just fell in love with them. This event was for an employee retiring after 39 years and she was so surprised by my gift to her and just felt in awe with their music and a lot of tears of joy were displayed. We had a retirement party, at our office, about 200 people. The band arrived on time (yay), and they were delightful, friendly and excited to be with us. The energy in the room immediately tripled and the band played for more than two hours, with a very short break. Excellent music, great voices, so very well done. We did not use any sound system, but they were easily heard over the crowd noises. All participants raved about them, the next day. I would definitely Mariachi Tierra Mia again.

Mariachi Tierra Mia was everything and more! I hired them for my college graduation party and I couldn't have asked for a more professional and talented group. I wanted my party to be unique so I asked if it was possible for the mariachis to play the UCLA Mighty Bruin song. I knew I was going out on a limb here but after seeing their videos online I figured they were fun and talented and may be willing to learn it for my party. I mean when's the last time you heard mariachi's play that!?! Maira (the lead singer), was so open to the idea and agreed that the group would learn to play it just two weeks before my party. I was so excited!

Upon arrival they walked in playing a traditional mariachi song, Maira's voice was just as beautiful in person. The band played every song that was requested by my guests which included classic mariachi songs, norteños, oldies, and of course Selena Quintanilla's top hits! Because what kind of party would it be without some Selena ballads? After the first break, it was time for the Mighty Bruin Song. Maira had me and my UCLA friends stand together and perform the chant with the group. It was awesome!

Overall, my guests were really impressed and had a wonderful time. A friend of mine even booked them for her daughter's quinceñera because they loved them so much! Maira and the rest of the group definitely made my party special and unique. If you're looking for a talented, professional group that will go out of their way to make your day special then look no further because Mariachi Tierra Mia is where it's at!

Maria and the band really went out of their way to make our event special! It was a surprise party for my father who turned 80! We had a unexpected death in our family of my 100 year old great uncle. The funeral and the surprise party ended up on the same day! At the last minute, 1 week before the event, our event time changed. Maira was so accommodating and empathetic to our situation and loss. She was flexible and committed to make the time change and she wanted to be a part of lifting our family with their music and participation in the event. They arrived on time, as the last surpise for my father and family, and were flexible to our party needs. When they came out, they looked and sounded amazing! They played all the songs we requested and welcomed me to sing with them for my father! It was wonderful! They are professional, traditional and really topped our event! Thank you Mariachi Tierra Mia, you did a amazing job for us! You helped to end a difficult but celebratory day with perfection. Our family thanks you! A MUST for your event!

I was very happy with the Mariachi, they where excellent some of the guest where requesting songs and they where able to sing every song that was requested, everyone had a great time. the band arrive a few minutes late but they made up the time they where late. I would will hire them again for my next event and i highly recommend them.

We hired Mariachi Tierra Mia at the last minute for my Nana's memorial service and I'm so thankful they were able to play for us. They were on time, well dressed, very polite, extremely professional, and best of all they played beautifully. We put this memorial service together in less than two weeks so there were lots of things to do and we didn't have time to sit and create a song list for Tierra Mia to play, but we didn't even have to! From the minute they came in until it was time for them to leave they played without skipping a beat and happily took requests from our guests. We will definitely be using them for my parent's vow renewal ceremony and for anything else we need a Mariachi for, they are amazing!
