Mariachi Nuevo Rubí

I hired Mariachi Nuevo Rubi after reading the reviews and watching a few videos. Truly impressed, Sofia and crew did a magnificent job. Very professional and arrived on time. Sofia has an incredible voice. My guests all asked for contact information they were truly a hit. 100% recommend.

I would like to say Thank You Very Much to Mariachi Nuevo Rubi. From our first act of communication to the night before our event on 06/11/2022 they were Very Professional, Very Fast to respond to any ?’s we might have had and they were on time to my residence for my daughter’s mañanitas to being on time at the Church. We could’ve wished to also have them at our reception later that evening but they were already booked. Thank you once again to all of the members of Mariachi Nuevo Rubi and hopefully we’ll book you again in the future.

It was a sad time for our family. They did a great job even through our painful circumstances.

They were on time, well dressed and played very good music. Had the whole party smiling and singing along :) Also, I had to change the time and the place a few times for the party. I felt bad, but they were able to tend to my inconvenience which was nice of them. Definitely recommend to anyone !

All I can say is they exceeded expectations. Beyond satisfied. All requests were able to be listened to, very friendly group and very professional. Would highly recommend and definitely will be planning additional events through this group.

I was in dire need of a Mariachi for my May 2nd wedding. My fiancé and I wanted to make sure we could fit it into our budget which is why we waited to book. I was so excited when I found Mariachi Nuevo Rubi. I reached out to them and got a response right away! They were available for my May 2nd date. So, I booked them ASAP on March 4th the deposit due was $300 and I ended up giving $400. Well little did we know that a few weeks later this whole Coronavirus pandemic was going to happen. We are literally in a state of Emergency! So, in a panic on March 18th I had to move the date of my wedding up to September 5th. I literally had to make these decisions in a matter of minutes because let’s face it I’m not the only bride going through this so dates are booking fast. So, I asked Sofia in a text message if it was possible to change my date to September 5th and she said I was in luck because she had that date available. So, I had her switch my date. Well literally in I would say less than 24 hours I was contacted by the church performing my ceremony and they informed me that my September 5th date was also not guaranteed because of this pandemic (this mandated letter was sent by the bishop to all catholic diocese). So, I was unfortunately forced to make the decision of postponing my wedding to a date yet unknown. I was upset of course so in my eyes everything was being canceled I was in a panic and I contacted Sofia to let her know of the situation. She seemed un-bothered by what was going on. I told her that I needed to cancel due to the unforeseen events (I wish I would've said "Postponed" because that's when everything went downhill) Obviously I was upset, and frantic not knowing what I should do. I had asked her the policy on refunds she basically said I wasn't getting anything back. I asked her if she can at least give me back the extra $100 I gave on top of the deposit. But she refused. Instead she sent me this message:
" I totally understand that it is not your fault. But please understand that your cancellation is not my fault either nor am I cancelling my Mariachi services for your wedding, you had to cancel for your reason(s). I also couldn’t book other jobs in order to accommodate your May 2 date then your September 5 date change, however that’s not your problem and I happily flexed our schedule for you as I was trying to be as understanding as possible. I also told you that we only required a $300 deposit, you chose to send the $400 deposit. That’s why the contract and the details are in place, upon signing it, we BOTH agree/agreed. Had we been the ones cancelling or had you cancelled yesterday instead of switching dates, it would have been a different scenario and I would have happily returned the deposit"

You can imagine how upset I was and just in utter shock of how cold hearted she was. I mean I totally understand that everyone is affected by what is going on but the lack of professionalism and let’s face it she didn't even give me any other options. I even asked her if we could keep my deposit on file so that if I were to choose a later date and if they were available, I would book them so that $400 wasn't a total loss, and I never received a response. I went home and discussed it with my fiancé and he had mentioned still doing a little ceremony and to have them still perform their duties. So, I reached out to Sofia and said that since she still has my money, I'd like to still keep the September date but she then mentioned that she had already booked the date for another event. It's unfortunate that there are people in this world that just don't care. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! We are supposed to help each other out during this time when things are out of our control.

Best mariachi! I actually attended a birthday celebration where I heard there amazing talent. Shortly after I booked Mariachi Nuevo Rubi for my dads 80th. I contacted Sofia she is very sufficient, returned my call in a timely manner and really easy to get along with. Together as a group they were all easy going. I definitely recommend them for any event.

Searching for Mariachis on a short notice for my mother's small and intimate 89th birthday luncheon was challenging, but after reading Mariachi Nuevo Rubi's reviews, I felt it was a good bet. Well what an incredible performance! What a beautiful voice Ms. Sofia has! I was so touched by how Ms. Sofia personalized the performance by including a song with my mother's! The celebration took place at the golf course in Dinuba during The Finger Jack Restaurant's Sunday brunch, so the music was shared with everyone there. After there performance many come up and thanked us for beautiful mariachi music. Not only are they talented, they are classy and professional. I cannot say enough of their entertaining performance. This group will not disappointed!

Thank you for playing at my husbands birthday party. You guys are so talented and everyone of the our guests loved you guys. So many were asking for your business cards. You guys played everything asked and were so entertaining. We will definitely hire you again for our future celebrations.

Mariachi Nuevo Rubi was amazing. Sofia has such an amazing voice. They were all awesome and did an absolutely amazing job at my daughters Quinceanera. All the guests loved them and I got a lot of compliments about them. They will definitely be my go to Mariachi’s. I will definitely be using them again. You will not be disappointed with them. Not only did they perform excellent but the fact that they scheduled us in last minute After they already had a gig couple hours away from us and worked around Our time absolutely flawless. Birthday girl was absolutely surprised and cried tears of joy as soon as she heard them playing. Every song we threw at them didn’t hesitate to play it. They even had the guests join in with their singing. I am still in awe of that night and their great energy. I know they were tired but that didn’t stop them from doing what they do best. The minute they left my family could not stop talking about them and asked me for their number. I will most definitely recommend them for your next event. We hired Mariachi Nuevo Rubi for my mother in laws 89th birthday party. I was a little skeptical because I had just had a birthday party for my mother last month and was not very satisfied with the Mariachi that played at that event. Luckily Sofia was available for this event and she sent me a few video clips!! I was sold when I heard her voice . Last night was the big event and Mariachi Nuevo Rubi were amazing!!! All the guests kept telling me this group is amazing! They played all the songs we requested, they were prompt and professional ... Sofia’s voice is amazing and her trumpets players were fantastic; as were all the members of the group!! My husband and I want to say thank you for making moms 89th birthday amazing and memorable !! Yesterday was my parents surprise 50th wedding anniversary and we had the honor of having this amazing mariachi! They sounded great, know a tons of songs, and arrived early. Female vocalist are rare and Sofia’s voice is like no other (men where great also). Sofia responded immediately to all my texts/calls and was very professional. I am very satisfied with their performance and look forward to having them for our future events! (Reasonable price!)

Its hard booking a Mariachi not knowing how well they will play and sound. Believe me when I tell you Mariachi Nuevo Rubi will not disappoint! They are without a doubt amazing! They are very, very talented and will go out of their way to accomodate you and your guests’ musical requests! Booked them for my Mom’s 70th b-day party and she was very happy! My wife’s family is from Guadalajara, Jalisco, birthplace of the Mariachi, while there we traveled to Tlaquepaque, a well known Mariachi venue, Mariachi Nuevo Rubi would easily hold their own side-by-side with any of the great bands we listened to there, they are that good! I will definitely book again!

I have never heard a better Mariachi Band!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone at my event was asking me for their business cards so they could book them for their event. I booked them for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I searched and searched for weeks for the best band and I finally found them and at a great price!!!!!!!!! I will definitely book them again!!! I contracted them for my wedding they did a really good job. I really liked the songs they sang and they went by tables and asked for request. They were friendly and easy to get a hold of when needed.

I contracted Mariachi Nuevo Rubi for my grandfathers 78th birthday event this weekend, their performance was exemplary to say the least. As they were arriving they played “las mańanitas” for him, very emotional moment. The memory they created was remarkable.
Communication and exchanging of dialogue with Sofia (amazing singer & violinist) was very professional. Sofia and her team arrived promptly, in trajes de charro and ready to perform. I believed engaging with the family on events like this is key, they provide that and more. I will definitely hire them again for upcoming events.

Sophia was very sweet since I called to book. I liked that they were there earlier, which I didn’t have to worry if they would be on time or not. They were super nice once I met up up them. They cooperated well for my mom’s surprise and played great! Sophia has an amazing voice! I love the positive vibes and energy that they brought to the party. My mom was super happy. I would definitely recommend!

They were very lively & engaged our family & guests the entire time. They sang & played so beautifully that they made my parents cry! We will definitely be hiring them again! I hired Mariachi Nuevo Rubi to celebrate a birthday for someone special. Sofia and her mariachis did an excellent job! We enjoyed every minute of it. They were on time and provided good service. They are great and talented singers! I would definitely hire them again.

Everyone at your wedding reception just Loved Mariachi Nuevo Rubi!!! Lots of people at our event had not had mariachi at a wedding before and the group was the perfect way to show my husband's family and friends some of my culture.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to hear the high level of quality from this group. As I understand it they are relatively new working as a team but they all seem to have the right experience to come together & make great sounding music. They played for my coworker's retirement party & it was a total surprise for Juan. He didn't expect it and was shocked when he heard Sophia and the mariachi walk in playing. Juan made a few requests for them to play & they were able to bring a smile to his face. These guys are the real deal & they made this event very special for all of us. As the headline says, I am so glad my family decided to hire this group for my father's birthday party this year! It was a surprise for my wife's anniversary gift. The singer was really good at the high notes! They all play the instruments beautifully. Only thing, is that I told them to start singing when she opens the door and they started singing when they got in front of the door. The first song was half done by the time she opened the door. Maybe it's just me being a perfectionist but overall, it was really good. They got here 10 minutes early.VERY PUNCTUAL

I'm so glad we hired this mariachi group to play at my mom's birthday party. The neighbors heard the good music and decided to come over and join the fun (and drink our beer). This mariachi group had everyone engaged and wanting more. Sofia is an amazing singer (and violinist) -- she is charming and so full of energy. The entire mariachi group was professional ensured that we were all happy with their song list and playing. I won't hesitate to hire them again, and I highly recommend them. We had Mariachi Nuevo Rubi at our party this past weekend and boy were they great! Sofia has some lungs on her and is so personable. I normally like to hear a mariachi with more feminine voices, but she is the only one that is needed in that group! They all have a good repertoire of music and are enthusiastic and fun. The guys she works with are so respectful and very professional! I will definitely hire them again!
