I am a singer/songwriter and I accompany myself on the piano. My sound is more meant for intimate gatherings or laid-back events. It's acoustically sound and focused on evoking the feeling of whatever event I am performing at.
Maria Arroyo is a singer/songwriter based out of the Philadelphia area. As a singer/songwriter, she spends most of her time rewriting and performing her original music. On top of that, she also performs covers from her favorite artists such as Adele, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Lewis Capaldi, James Arthur, and so many more. She prides herself on being able to evoke the feeling of whatever songs she's playing and make sure that every moment is authentic and personal.
For a grand piano, baby grand piano, or an upright piano, I would need a vocal microphone set up in front of me along with a speaker/sound system in order to project my vocals over the piano.
Lighting is not a huge issue, but as long as I can see my music I am good!
A Personal monitor is higher preferred but that's not available, as long as I can hear myself we will be good to go!
