By day, Marcus plays a Chicago police officer on NBC’s Chicago Fire, Med, and PD—a role he has survived for 12 years without ever having to fill out actual paperwork. By night, he brings that same high-stakes energy to the comedy stage. His career in comedy even started in a funny way. Discouraged from people breaking into his car and stealing his stereo, he stopped buying new stereos and told himself jokes on the way to work to stay entertained. He tried out those same jokes one night on stage and the rest is history! Marcus has an eclectic comedy style which blends observational humor, sharp wit and real-life stories.
