Richard Marchetta is primarily a solo guitar singer-songwriter living in Santa Clarita,CA. He also specializes in solo guitar instrumental tunes for events such as Farmers Markets,coffee shops,and more.
Circa 1996 while living in Syracuse,NY Richard Received a John Defrancisco decentralization grant in collaboration with the Libba Cotten conservancy at Syracuse University for his CD Greenhouse Effect Blues.During this time he was also sought after by the local YMCA organization to teach guitar to youth and adults.
In the July 2024 issue of Music Connection magazine they gave a 7.6 out of 10 point review for his latest songwriter release Angels and Aerials.Richard currently performs and tours solo and with guest acoustic performers in the California state from the Bay area,Los Angeles and San Diego.

If their is a sound engineer and sound system at the event that is fine.However I usually can use my own amp ,microphone,mic stand,and self sufficient cables. . Electricity and outlet and chair or bar stool requested. I do have a bar stool if needed.
