I am a respectful and tasteful musician who always seeks to serve the environment in which he plays in. I don't take myself too seriously and am very open to feedback (play louder/softer, song requests, mood shift, etc.) . You can expect a high level of professionalism and courtesy as well as professional-level musicianship as both a singer and piano player. I am great at, and willing to interact with the audience as necessary, or serve as background music if needed. My repertoire is meticulously prepared and I am able to learn most any song given an appropriate amount of lead time (1-2 days/song). I have adequate knowledge as a sound technician and can handle all sound-related set-up, maintenance and takedown myself.

I have been trained in classical, jazz, and choral music training and have played music in a wide variety of situations: events, weddings, restaurants, recitals, funerals, concerts, and church, to name a few. I am most capable of playing the piano and singing, while I also know how to play the guitar, bass, ukulele and saxophone. I am a recent graduate from university this spring (UBC Sauder School of Business) and have been working as a gig musician and recording artist for the past 4 years.

I can provide all equipment necessary to do my job: keyboard, microphone, PA system, mixer, stands. I can play without amplification if necessary, and have a single portable amplifier for small-medium events. For larger events that require larger sound systems, I may require additional cables and PA systems. I can also act as my own sound technician.
