The "nucleus" of MANGROOVE is a TRIO that sounds like a quintet (includes keyboard, bass and drum sounds with two vocalists)...other instruments are added as the gig requires.
Manny, a native of Boston, MA, has performed with such distinguished artists and educators as MAYA ANGELOU and has also performed with STEVEN TYLER of AEROSMITH. Manny has also worked with such noteables as MAURICE STARR, ANDRE WARD, DONALD HARRISON, and the late SABBY LEWIS, to name but a few. "Mangroove" also performed with multiple Grammy Award nominee and recipient KURT ELLING at the Democratic National Convention in Boston.
Wilmington, NC recent collaborations have included such musicians as Jack Krupicka, Benny Hill, Doug Irving, Dr. Teddy Burgh, Jerald Shynett, Dr. Natalie Boeyink, and Durham's Brian Miller.
