We specialize in birthday parties for children, school and community festivals, cocktail hours, and corporate events.

We hired Mangos & Tangos for a huge city-run community Easter event and they were fantastic! Super easy to work with, arrived early and with all their own equipment, and put on a great show for our entire 3-hour event. We would absolutely hire them again.

Mangos & Tangos played at my large, community music festival several weeks ago and were a crowd favorite on our family stage. They were super fun, engaging, and sounded great! We would love to have them and their upbeat energy back next year. I absolutely recommend them for any kid-oriented party or event!

Mangos and Tangos provided a great performance package that not only was easy to book, but also entertained children and adults at my venue. They were on time, well prepared, and extremely professional in all of my interactions with them. The children at the party were up and dancing along to the songs by the Mango crew. Their act kept everyone engaged and there were even a few tunes the adults recognized. I’ll definitely hire Mangos and Tangos the next time I need to provide entertainment. They’d be great at an elementary school dance or school fair too.

Our live band creates upbeat, engaging music for children and their families. The story unfolds at the Misty Mango Club on the Bay, where the restaurant’s scheduled band cancels and the quirky staff jumps in to save the show. What follows is a heart-warming, interactive musical adventure full of humor, discovery, and connection.
Mangos and Tangos is the brainchild of singer-songwriter, nanny, and educator Alex Yeomanson (Allie Mango) who saw a gap in the need for fun, accessible music expressly about social skills and growing up. Musically, Mangos and Tangos takes influence from pop-rock music from 1960s-modern day as well as millennial childhood favorites like Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, Reading Rainbow, Lambchop’s Singalong, and Schoolhouse Rock. Through interactive storytelling that is woven into the performance, kids meet unforgettable characters like Freddie Mustard — a tiny, mellow yellow reminder to treat others the way we’d like to be treated — and a lovable cast of residents from Allie’s musical island.
With playful storytelling, vibrant original songs, themes of empathy and resilience, and professional-grade audio, lights, and effects, Mangos and Tangos creates a magical experience that delights children and inspires grown-ups, too.
