Overview
Mamboson is an exciting professional 10-11 piece Latin dance band that brings a high level of energy with its exciting lead singers and blazing horn section to your event. We always make your event one to remember. Our setlist is versatile and includes Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Cha-cha, and Boleros. We can also provide Latin Jazz for your event. We are very popular for Havana Nights!

I am the event planner for a luxury apartment community in Hollywood and we hired Mambop for our Cinco de Mayo event. Many of our residents are in the entertainment industry, and they were SO impressed with Mambop! By the second set, residents were up and dancing and enjoying the party. The male lead singer of Mambop was a power house of energy with a great voice! Also, Jim was incredibly easy to work with-- we had a clear line of communication, he was flexible with our specific needs on the day of the event, and he got there early to set up. As an event planner, that was a HUGE relief! I highly recommend this band!!

Price range: $1750-$2800 depending on event and distance

What to expect
You can expect a well dressed professional group of 10 or 11 musicians. We consist of two dynamic lead singers, piano, bass guitar, congas, timbales and bongos, 1 or 2 trumpets, 1 saxophone and 1 trombone. The band plays danceable Salsa sets that includes mambo's, cha cha's and cumbia or merengue. For some events Mamboson can also readily play instrumental Latin Jazz from such artists as Tito Puente, Poncho Sanchez, Cal Tjader and Pete Escovedo most of which are also very danceable.
About
Mamboson is a professional Latin Band that plays Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue or Latin Jazz for your event. Mambop is available to play most anywhere in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino or Riverside Counties.
There is an extra charge for locations farther than 100 miles from Fontana.
Additional booking notes
For events we require at least two multiple input AC outlets near the staging area for our sound equipment if sound equipment is not provided.
For very large halls or large outside events we recommend you hire a professional sound company. At the very least we recommend you rent sub-woofers that we could then incorporate into our sound system to provide the maximum full effect.
