Mama Don’t Allow Heading to a City Near You

This group has a dynamic mix of the blues, pop and rock. I say look out Delta region for this group to show up and show out at many events this year. They are young but have great presence and talents.

About

Mama Don’t Allow (MDA) is a central Arkansas Blues Band that focuses heavily on blues and soul music but also loves to stretch out on classic rock, some country, and original music. MDA can take any 3-minute song and turn into a 15 minute jam as the band boasts over 100 years of playing experience and multiple genre backgrounds. MDA believes in Blues and Brotherhood and will provide a high energy, rocking good time.
MDA has played the Dunbar Community Festival 2 years in a row, the Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotions Commission Blues and Soul Night, as well as competed in the Hope, Ar Watermelon Festival.

Aubrey Mos – Aubrey has been playing guitar since the age of 14 and formed his first bands in high school, playing in people’s living rooms. Throughout college, Aubrey continued to play various festivals, talent shows, and living rooms either with a band or solo. Right after college, while living in Russellville, Aubrey decided to dedicate more time to music, and this brought him into contact with Scott. Since then, Scott and Aubrey have been in and out of bands together as Aubrey has moved away and moved back through the years, but every time he moved back, he and Scott got back together. Aubrey finally moved back to Arkansas to stay, and MDA was born. While blues is Aubrey’s first love he also enjoys writing and recording his own music which influences MDA as well.

Scott Eubanks – Scott was born and raised in a music family. Musicians on both sides exposed Scott to pianos, violins, guitars, and singers. At the tender age of 7 Scott decided to be the family’s first drummer. This lasted until age 11 when he switched to bass to help out in his uncle’s Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band. This started a life of traveling and playing around Arkansas, and the founding of several bands including Tissue Culture. At one point Scott counts 9 different bands he was a part of all at one time. After years of doing this Scott settled into a musician for hire role since the mid 2000’s, filling in for whom and whenever on a variety of instruments. Before this he had built a music scene in Russellville where bands and various musicians from across Central Arkansas would come by his house to jam and record. It was during these days that he met current MDA guitarist Aubrey Mos. The connection was instant and has led to numerous bands and shows throughout the years, finally culminating into what MDA is today. When not playing with MDA, Scott is a member of the Reckless Ryders and continues to jam with others. Scott says of his life in music that at times it can be challenging, but it is so very rewarding.

Larry Klotz: Larry grew up near the US67 "Rock And Roll Highway" and was exposed to the great music of Arkansas and the entire region. This rich variety of blues, folk, country, rock, and gospel has moved him for as long as he can remember. Boasting a lifetime of playing in multiple bands and genres, he is excited to continue the sounds and musical traditions in new ways. When not playing with MDA Larry is a member of the country band Reckless Ryders. And it was through the Ryders that he met Scott and was then brought into MDA. He says music keeps him almost sane and works as a therapy for his soul.

Dominic Delgado – Dominic has been playing and singing since the age of 15 while coming from a musical family in which his 2 uncles played banjo, guitar, and fiddle. As a toddler Dominic attempted to join in by holding a huge dreadnaught size guitar and strumming strings. This has led Dominic to a life of music and influences. While his primary love is country and bluegrass, which he showcases with his band Country Breakfast, his love for blues, rock, and all other genres led him to Mama Don’t Allow. When these 2 bands are not performing you can find Dom singing acoustic sets around Little Rock and writing and playing his own original music. It was by playing with Country Breakfast that Dominic first met MDA at the Dunbar Community Festival. He says music is his passion and he loves seeing the smiles it puts on people’s faces.

Braylon Hines – As the son of Aubrey, Braylon is the youngest of the group in terms of age and playing career. However, Braylon has shown natural talent as a drummer and has progressed rapidly through the years. He lays down a solid beat and can pick up on a song immediately. When not playing with MDA, Braylon plays weekly for his church every Sunday. His musical career and journey are just beginning, and MDA is happy to provide a springboard for his growing talents.
