January 18, 2024We hired Natasha on for our feature film as MUA. Right away I knew she was a professional. This film was a period piece and required a lot of looks, blood, grit, scars, and wounds and she delivered. She was always earlier then her call time, super professional and a pleasure to work with. Hair and makeup artist Natasha Loudermilk is based in Santa Cruz, CA and is available for commercial and film projects around the Bay Area and Los Angeles. She is experienced with HD makeup delivering a flawless onscreen appearance using airbrush techniques, as well as special effects (sfx) creating realistic casualty looks. In addition she creates custom face charts for each actor to be used for continuity, making sure the looks for each scene are the same throughout the scene, no matter what day they are shot.
Film credits incude 2 full feature films: 5 Outlaws and a Saddle Bag and Transformations Movie. She graduated both Cosmetology and Esthetician school and belives in continuing her education by taking classes and workshops and staying active in the idustry. Before doing makeup for movies, she worked in the film industry for many years, giving her insight on set etiquette and what's needed to make productions run smoothly.
I will need a safe and comfortable space to set up my gear. Electricity is needed for some services if required the use of hair tools. HD airbrush machine is battery powered. I can come with a portable table and lights if this isn’t provided by the client.
